Prayer

The church is now open for limited hours during the day for private prayer but you can continue to offer prayers from home using the form below.

Open Church

During daylight hours the church is always open for quiet prayer in the Lady Chapel, turn right as you enter the church. By the church door to the left is a prayer request book which is used frequently. Prayers are offered up regularly for any request written in the book.

Monday morning 9.00 – 9.30am

Prayers are said in the Lady chapel or Kit Haffner Room every week.

Breathing Space, offering rest and quiet in a busy world.

Every first Saturday of the month (except August)  Drop in any time between 9.30am and 12 to enjoy some quiet and silence.  We make appointments for the doctor, dentist, to meet up with friends, but do we make ‘appointments’ for ourselves to have some precious time out? Whether a person of faith or not this space is for you.  Stay as long or as short as you like, nothing will be expected or asked of you.  Use the time as you wish in quietness.  Simple refreshments of croissants and/or cake available from 9.30

Monthly Parish Prayer

A mixture of silent, said and sung prayer for St Paul’s mission and ministry and the wider community.   Usually takes place in the Kit Haffner Room and in the church on warmer evenings from 7.30 – 8.30pm
