A community centered Church open to all
03/07/2021 10:30 am St Paul's Church Garden
You are welcome to an Eco-Church activity day! St Paul’s church is aiming to achieve accreditation as an Eco Church under a scheme run by the A Rocha UK charity which aims to promote sustainability in communities via the local church. We very much appreciate your support of this and other events that will be held later in the year.
Pop along anytime between 10.30 am and 4.00 pm to join in with the activities planned – suitable for all ages.
*Build a bird box for a tree near you!
*Help construct a bug hotel in our church garden!
*Sow a wild flower seed bed!
Free entry. BYO refreshments.
We are planning this event within our current covid guidelines, which allow for 30 people to meet outdoors, whilst mindful that these guidelines are subject to change in the coming weeks. We will consider cancelling the event if it is raining persistently and heavily or in the unlikely event that covid guidelines are tightened. Toilets and changing facilities will be available in the Parish Room lobby, but you are asked to bring your own refreshments for you and your family if you wish to, to consume outdoors. There is bench seating in the garden, which is pushchair and wheelchair friendly. Each activity will be supervised by adults, known to the church, (not necessarily DBS checked) so all children must be accompanied and supervised by their carer during their visit. Please be advised that there are no gates on the 3 entrances to the church garden and cars pass frequently on the road along the perimeter of the garden.
This event is free of charge but if you would like to make a donation to the church you may do so HERE
